<p>On Saturday, 30th May 2026, Anne passed away peacefully with her family by her side. predeceased by her husband Sean and sister Mary.</p>
<p>Anne, loving Mother of Norman, David, Shane and Jackie, adored grandmother of Finn, Audí<em>​​​​</em>n, Dara, Arwen, Esme, Rían, Avory and Eve, Sadly missed by her loving family, daughter-in-law Fiona, (Eason), son-in-law, Colum (Gavin), brother, Andy and sisters, Patsy (Walshe) and Kathleen (Egan), sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of friends and neighbours</p>
<p>May She Rest In Peace.</p>
<p>Reposing at Our Lady Star Of The Sea Church, Quilty this Tuesday evening the 2nd of June from 5pm until 7pm, Funeral Mass on Wednesday the 3rd June at 12 noon, followed by interment in Quilty Cemetery. no flowers please, donations, if desired to <a href="https://pmvtrust.ie/" target="_blank">Peter McVerry Trust:</a></p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Margaret McCarthy, formally of Clounlaheen, died peacefully at St Senan&#8217;s Nursing home, Kilrush, in her 107th year, surrounded by her loving family.</p>
<p>Pre-deceased by her husband Charlie, daughter Philomena and her three infant babies &#8211; Charles, Gerard and Theresa.</p>
<p>Dearly loved and sadly missed by her family &#8211; Christy, Moira, Frances, Michael John, Martin, James, Catherine, Margaret Ann, Thomas and Bernadette, her sister Vera (U.S.A.), her daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, her 40 grandchildren, 54 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.</p>
<p>MAY HER GENTLE SOUL REST IN PEACE</p>
<p>Margaret will be reposing in St Mary&#8217;s Church, Mullagh, V95 D429 on Monday 25th May from 6pm until 8pm. Requiem mass will take place on Tuesday 26th May at 2pm, followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Mass will be live streamed on the KIB parish webcam.</p>
<p>The family would like to thank all her carers over the years who took care of her at home. We wish to express a very sincere thank you to the staff of St. Senan&#8217;s Nursing home, Kilrush, for the care, dedication and dignity afforded to Margaret and the support given to her family. This is greatly appreciated and will be long remembered by us.</p>
<p>House strictly private please.</p>
