Davina’s Montessori is situated in Seafield, Quilty, Co. Clare. Times are from 9.30am to 12.30pm Monday to Friday. At Davina‘s children are treated with respect at all times.

A loving, affectionate and respectful attitude and manner are always shown towards children creating a safe and reassuring environment.

Our ultimate aim here at Davina’s is to provide an opportunity for each child to learn and develop to their full potential.

Activities are displayed on open shelves and children are free to choose an activity and so can progress at their own pace.

Research studies show that children who are exposed to the Montessori Method are well prepared for later life academically, socially and emotionally.

9:30 - 10:00	Free play puzzles, beads, jigsaws, animals, role plays etc.
10:00 - 10:45	Montessori work
10:45 - 11:00	Snack time
11:00 - 11:10	Library time, Songs
11:10 - 11:45	Play dough, Arts & Crafts
11:45 - 12:20	Montessori work
12:20 - 12:30	Circle Time, Music (intruments, dance)
12:30	Home

1860 – 2012

Scropul N.S., situated in the south east of the parish of Kilmurry Ibrickane is set in a rugged landscape which is predominantly peatland and forestry, close to the scenic and tranquil waters of Doolough Lake.

This historic building that has spanned a century and a half will for many people reawaken many childhood memories of times past.

We rejoice and celebrate one hundred and fifty years of education and the many parish clergy, teachers, parents and pupils who have been associated with it. As we pay tribute to them we rejoice in the past. We are proud of our school and its achievements.

At present, Scropul N.S. has now amalgamated with Coore N.S.
