Peacefully in the Loving Care of the staff of St. Senan’s Nursing Home Kilrush,

surrounded by her family on Thursday the 9th of July 2026.

Deeply missed by her loving family, brother, Tomás, sister, Louie Garvey, sister-in-law, Rena, brothers-in-law, Michael Garvey and Fr. Martin Shanahan, nephews, Eoin, Cillian and Tom, nieces, Emily, Máire and Katie, grandniece, Críodhe and grandnephews, Culann and Tadgh, relatives, neighbours and friends. Patricia is predeceased by her parents Tom and Mary and sister Mary Margaret Shanahan.

Reposing this Saturday evening the 11th of July in St. Mary’s Church, Mullagh from 6pm until 8pm. Funeral Mass on Sunday at 2pm in Mullagh Church followed by cremation Service at Shannon Crematorium on Tuesday the 14th of July at 2pm.

Please note there will be no 11am Mass in Mullagh Church on Sunday the 12th July.

He is deeply mourned and sadly missed by his brother Séamus; his sister-in-law Máire; his nephews and nieces; Fidelma (Dublin), Deirdre (Galway) Séamus (Galway) Aedán (Knock) and Fionnuala (North Carolina); his nieces’ spouses, Phil, James and Jack and Aedán’s fiancée Mary Rose; his 8 grandnieces and grandnephews, relatives, friends and colleagues.

Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, the 3rd July, 2026 at 10.45am at Sebastian’s Catholic Church, Woodside, New York with private burial in Ireland.
