Dr Michael J Walsh

June 26th, 2026

The death has occurred of Dr Michael J. Walsh at Elmhurst Hospital, New York on the 26th day of June, 2026 with his nephew Aedán by his side. Michael dedicated his professional life as a neurologist to research in UCLA, Massachusetts General Hospital, Stanford University, Heidelberg University, and Columbia University. He was Professor of Neurology at Mount Sinai Hospital, New York. He is pre-deceased by his parents James and Margaret.

He is deeply mourned and sadly missed by his brother Séamus; his sister-in-law Máire; his nephews and nieces; Fidelma (Dublin), Deirdre (Galway) Séamus (Galway) Aedán (Knock) and Fionnuala (North Carolina); his nieces’ spouses, Phil, James and Jack and Aedán’s fiancée Mary Rose; his 8 grandnieces and grandnephews, relatives, friends and colleagues.

Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, the 3rd July, 2026 at 10.45am at Sebastian’s Catholic Church, Woodside, New York with private burial in Ireland.

John Logan

June 13th, 2026

The death has occured of John Logan, Main Street, Lahinch on 13th June 2026 aged 82.  Funeral Mass in Star of the Sea Church Quilty on 16th June 2026 with burial afterwards in Quilty Cemetry. May he Rest in Peace.

On Saturday, 30th May 2026, Anne passed away peacefully with her family by her side. predeceased by her husband Sean and sister Mary.

Anne, loving Mother of Norman, David, Shane and Jackie, adored grandmother of Finn, Audí​​​​n, Dara, Arwen, Esme, Rían, Avory and Eve, Sadly missed by her loving family, daughter-in-law Fiona, (Eason), son-in-law, Colum (Gavin), brother, Andy and sisters, Patsy (Walshe) and Kathleen (Egan), sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of friends and neighbours

May She Rest In Peace.

Reposing at Our Lady Star Of The Sea Church, Quilty this Tuesday evening the 2nd of June from 5pm until 7pm, Funeral Mass on Wednesday the 3rd June at 12 noon, followed by interment in Quilty Cemetery. no flowers please, donations, if desired to Peter McVerry Trust:
