World Mission Sunday
October 13th, 2012World Mission Sunday is on next Sunday 21st October.
- Mission month is a time to celebrate the work of missionaries. Each year we are encouraged to offer the young churches our prayers and support.
- · The theme this year is “Growing in Communion ” and this year’s mission poster features the founder of the society of the Propagation of the Faith Pauline Jaricot and Cork born lay missionary Aisling Foley currently ministering in South Africa. We can all play an active role in helping more than 1,100 dioceses generally located in the poorer areas of the globe.
- We express again our gratitude for your support of the Missions each year and appeal to your generosity once again. For more information visit the Killaloe Diocesan website www. killaloediocese.ie
- The annual Mission Sunday Collection will be taken up at all Masses next weekend. We ask you generous support.
