A big congratulations to Caitlin Campbell, Annagh N.S. and Nicole O’Doherty, Mullagh N.S. who were chosen to participate in the INTO/Respect Exhibition Go Games at half time in the Cork V Donegal All-Ireland Senior Football semi-final in Croke Park last Sunday. Both girls and their families were treated to a day out in Croke Park and along with girls & boys from all over Ireland, the girls played in front of a crowd of over 55,000 people.

V. Rev. Charles Navin
August 25th, 2012The death has occurred of V. Rev Charles Navin retired Parish Priest of Tubber / Boston at the Bons Secours Hospital, Galway after a short illness. He served as priest of the Killaloe Diocese for 69 years and he was in his 94th year.
Fr. Charlies remains will repose at the church of St Michael, Tubber Co. Clare from 3.00 p.m. until 8.00 p.m. on Monday, August 27th with Funeral Prayers at 8.00 pm.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 28th at 2.30 pm. Fr. Charlie will be laid to rest in the grounds of the Church of St Michael, Tubber immediately after the Requiem Mass.
