Thank you to all who contributed to their recent church gate collection.  Total amount collected €806.07.

Jason Lorrigan, Kildysart together with the Clare Crusaders would like to thank the First Holy Communion children of Kilmurry Ibrickane Parish for the very kind and generous donation of €300.It is only through this very kind generosity that we can continue to help special needs children help themselves.

Congratulations to two young artists who recently were awarded first and third in a nationwide primary schools art competition. Jessica Doohan received first place in the Shannon Airport Schools Art competition while her classmate Eilish Conway captured the third place award. The Pupils, their families and teacher Mrs. Genevieve Pender attended the award ceremony on Friday 22 June. Jessica collected a prize of €400 art supplies for her school plus €100 of art supplies for herself and her winning piece of art work will be framed and displayed in the airport for a year. Eilish received a voucher for art supplies and will have her art work displayed also. The Paintings of these young students are now available for all to see on  www. Shannonairport.com.

At a recent meeting of the Mullagh Tidy Villages Committee, it was decided to enter the 2012 Tidy Town competition.  The committee would like to thank all the property owners who updated their properties in 2011.  Unfortunately,  the village lost points last year as all properties were not painted and tidied up.  Therefore we hope all property owners will get involved this year, giving the village a greater chance of success.

This collection will be taken up at all Masses this weekend.  We ask your generous support.  All monies received from this collection will go to assist the Diocesan Administration as well as supporting the salaries of Diocesan Officials in the area of our Catechetics, Pastoral Formation and Diocesan Office.  Our Parish has a set levy to reach so all support would be greatly appreciated.  We ask that no other collection takes place on this weekend.
