Sunday next, 11 February is the 154th anniversary of the Apparitions of Our Lady to St. Bernadette in Lourdes.  This year’s Diocesan Pilgrimage will leave Shannon on Tuesday 26 June and return on Sunday 1 July. For the third year in succession there has been no increase in cost.  The cost this year is still €670 per person sharing.  Booking forms can be obtained from: CARA/Joe Walsh Tours, 143 Lower Baggot Street, Dublin 2.  Telephone 01 2410810.  A limited number of Sick pilgrims will be accommodated in the Sanctuary of Lourdes at a cost of €550 Applications for sick pilgrims only to Fr. Clare.  Telephone 061 364133.  Families and individuals often sponsor a family member, parent, or a friend on the occasion of an anniversary of Jubilee with a visit to Lourdes.  Sponsorship for sick people is always welcome.

A meeting of the Parish Pastoral Council will take place on Wednesday 8 February at 8pm in the Meeting Room, Mullagh.  All members are asked to attend.

A meeting of the parents First Communion Core Group will take place on Tuesday 7 February at 8.30pm in Fr. Pat’s House to plan for the next Prayer Ritual on Sunday 19 February in Mullagh Church.

This will be held  on this Saturday 4  & Sunday 5 February at all Masses.  Please support generously.

St. Josephs Secondary School, Spanish Point are holding a concert on Thursday 9th of February. The concert is being held in the school hall. Doors open at 7pm and show starts at 7:30pm sharp. Tickets are €5 and can be purchased at the door.
