Gentle exercise in Mullagh Hall

Will not be on Thursday the 17th March, but will resume on Thursday 24th March from 11am to 12 noon, donation of €5 per person and you are more than welcome to stay for a cup of tea/coffee and chat afterwards!

Trocaire Lenten Campaign

The Trocaire Lenten Campaign begins on Ash Wednesday, this year Trocaire are focusing on Zimbabwe which is facing huge challenges due to Covid 19, climate change and flooding.  Our contributions can change lives.

€15 can buy shoes for a child

€25 can buy soap and sanitation that can save people from disease

€60 can buy food for a family of a month

Trocaire boxes are available in the Church Porch.  Please remember the third world this Lent.

Ellen Cox

February 20th, 2022

The death has occurred of Ellen (Nellie) Cox, neé Casey of Derbyshire, England and Spanish Point, peacefully at home.

Predeceased by her husband John. Deeply missed by her loving daughters Anne, Susie and Ellen, her brother Timmy, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

Funeral mass at 1.30pm on Sunday at Star of the Sea Church, Quilty followed immediately by burial of ashes in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only. Donations to the Irish Red Cross Ukraine Crisis Appeal.
