Confirmation Candidates and your Parents

May 14th, 2021

Dear Confirmation Candidates and your parents.
I hope you are all keeping very well and safe. You will remember when Bishop Fintan wrote to you all on May 4th that he mentioned a Prayer service of Preparation for Confirmation and for the coming of the Holy Spirit that would take place on next Tuesday, May 18th at 8.00 pm. The link for the prayer service is below and when you join, you will be praying with all the Confirmation families right across the Diocese. There is no need to pre register for this service. If Godparents would like to participate in this service, they are also very welcome to do so, – please pass this email link on to them. On the night, the family will be asked to light a candle by the Bishop – this can be your Baptismal Candle if you have it or another candle if you don’t. It would be good to get this organised ahead of the Service.
