GRANT FOR MULLAGH HALL: Well done to TJ O Loughlin for applying for an enhancement grant from Clare County Council to replace the 2 wooden doors going into Mullagh Hall & Meeting room with new white pvc doors, he was approved for a grant of €1750 which was a great help to cover the cost of replacing the doors! Well done TJ & Thank you to Clare County Council!
GRAVEYARD GRANT: Mullagh & Quilty Graveyards were approved a grant of €600 each from Clare County Council for works being carried out there. Well done to The RSS & FAS Workers and all involved for their hard work! Thanks to Clare County Council!

A MEETING will be held in McCarthys of Clounlaheen on Thursday the 16th of January at 8pm, with a view to organising a committee to collect and record the Coore heritage and folklore.
Coore has a rich tradition going back hundreds of years and it would be a pity for this generation to lose what has been handed down to us. It is our duty to preserve and hand on this tradition to the next generation while we have people in the locality who still have a rich store of knowledge of our heritage. All are welcome.
