KILMURRY IBRICKANE DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE STATEMENT

February 1st, 2019

The Kilmurry Ibrickane Development Committee met on January 28, 2019 and agreed to allocate an additional €6,000 to our
Parish Hall Development Project.
This will bring the Total Monies allocated to this Project to €36,000
The Committee were very impressed with the progress to date and are assured that this extra money will guarantee that the Project can be finalized in the very near future.
The Kilmurry Ibrickane Development Committee are absolutely delighted to help our Parish Hall Development Project and are looking forward  to seeing this pivotal Community Resource project coming to fruition.
Meanwhile in relation to the Quilty Project, research and strategic plans are being formulated  by this Committee at the moment and will be announced in due course.

Pastoral Council

February 1st, 2019

We would like to acknowledge all those who work in our Parish over the year with a small celebration in Cooneys Bar Quilty on Friday 8th of February. We warmly invite Choir members, Musicians, Readers, Eucharistic Ministers, Pastoral Council members, Finance Committee Members, Sacristans and anyone who helps out in the three churches (flowers, crib, decorations etc), FAS Workers, RSS Workers, Rosary Group, Adoration Group & Lay Led Liturgy Group. If we have left out anybody, please forgive us. We really need to know numbers for food, please contact the Parish Office by Monday 4th February 065 7087161. Music and finger food on the night.

Anna Shanahan

January 15th, 2019

The death has occurred peacefully in the loving care of the Matron, nurses and staff of Cahercalla Hospital, Ennis of
Anna Shanahan, Cahercalla Nursing Home, Ennis and formerly of Tromera, Quilty on Tuesday 15th January 2019.
Daughter of the late Edward and Anna Shanahan and sister of the late Mary-Kate Walsh (Tromera, Quilty), Peggy Hehir (Killernan, Miltown Malbay) and Bridget Brew (Tarmon, Kilkee).
Sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, extended family, neighbours and friends.
May she Rest in Peace
Reposing on Friday, evening 18th January, in The Star of the Sea Church, Quilty form 5.00 p.m. with prayers at 6.30 p.m.
Funeral Mass on Saturday, morning 19th, at 11.30 a.m. followed by interment in Kilmurry Ibricken Cemetery, Quilty.

Mary Droney

January 9th, 2019

The death has occurred Mary Droney, Shanaway East, Miltown Malbay, Co. Clare. Reposing in Coore Church this Thursday evening from 6 o’clock with funeral prayers at 8 o’clock. Funeral Mass on Friday at 11 o’clock. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
May She Rest In Peace.
