Fr Martin Keane, Cranny, was ordained on 5th July, 1970 in the old Lissycasey Church and celebrated his first Mass in his native St Mary’s Church, Cranny on 6th July.
In order to celebrate the 50th Jubilee of his Ordination, which had been postponed due to the Covid 19 pandemic, a Mass of Thanksgiving will be celebrated on Sunday, 3rd July, at Our Lady of the Wayside Church, Lissycasey at 12.30. Everybody welcome.
There will also be a celebration in Cranny at a later date.
