Presentation of the Lord in the Temple
This is a day associated with the Blessing of Candles. It is to acknowledge the Christ as the light of our lives & the light of the world. Candles for church & home use will be blessed on Saturday morning 2 February at 10am Mass in Mullagh Church.
St. Brigid
This Friday 1 February is the Feast of St Brigid, a woman of profound influence, deep faith and immense courage. We pray that she will direct and guide us in life.
First Friday
Friday next is the First Friday in February. Mass times on Friday are as follows – Mullagh 12noon. Quilty 7pm. Coore 8pm. An opportunity for the Sacrament of Reconciliation is available before each Mass. Fr. Pat will make his calls on Thursday 31st & Friday 1st.
