Sometimes what your body and spirit want is simple- just to wind down, to see something beautiful, to rest, to taste good things, to feel comfortable, to have a time where you don’t have to think hard or work hard.

Then you will understand what is right and just and fair- every good path. For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul. Proverbs 2:9-10

Forgive me for focusing so much on the work of living that I forget to celebrate the wonder and joy. You have made the life experience complex and overflowing with goodness. Help me grab hold of the mystery and the delight of being alive.
