Forgive me for focusing so much on the work of living that I forget to celebrate the wonder and joy. You have made the life experience complex and overflowing with goodness. Help me grab hold of the mystery and the delight of being alive.
Reflection – Today’s Thought
Thursday 18th July
God, nudge me when I have a chance to extend friendship to another. Open my eyes to the times when others are reaching out to me. I want to see each person just as you do. Help me sense their heart needs so tat I can respond with kindness and thoughtfulness.
Wednesday 17th July
Thank you for the gift of laughter. When it comes along, I am reminded of the simplicity of pure happiness. Show me how I can go beyond occasional moments of lightness to an ongoing, ever-flowing sense of joy and peace.

Monday 15th July
Take me to your heart, God. I want to just be in your presence so that I can know you better. My wants tend to lead me back to myself. My needs direct me back to you, my Creator. Only you truly know what I need to carry on.
