The death has taken place of John Callinan, Craggane, Quilty Co. Clare,

10th of April 2026. Peacefully at home in the loving care of his heartbroken family.Loving husband to Mary, daughters Majella and Caroline, sons Shane,David, Declan & Brian. Daughters-in-law Bridget, Anne, Dymphna and Jacinta. Sons-in-law Michael, adored Grandchildren Rachael, Daryn,Gary, Evan, Niamh, Nicole, Sean, Luke, Aidan, Max, Erin, Noah, Jayden,Alex, Fiadh, Callum, Great-grandchild Rian. Brothers, Michael and Martin. Nieces, Angela and Mairead. Nephew, Micheal, brothers in-law,sisters-in law, many neighbours, relatives and friends

Reposing at Star of the Sea Church, Quilty, on Sunday the 12th of April, From 6 o’clock to 8 o’clock. Mass on Monday at 12 noon & burial in the adjoining cemetery

Neil Norton

NORTON, Neil, Kilmurry I Brickane, Co. Clare. Neil Norton passed away peacefully on April 1st, 2026, in Ennis Hospital. Beloved and loving husband of Teresa (née Pender), devoted father to Neil, and cherished grandfather to Alex and Emelia. Sadly missed by his wife, son, grandchildren, extended family in Ireland/America. A much-loved man and a patient presence in the lives of many. Kindness personified.

Funeral Mass in St Mary’s Church, Mullagh on Easter Sunday at 12:30pm. Followed by Private cremation on Easter Monday at 12:00pm. Family requests no flowers but do something nice for someone today in Neil’s memory.

Mount Scott, Mullagh, Co. Clare.

Reposing at McMahon’s Funeral Home, Mullagh (V95 P049) this Friday evening the 27th of February from 5pm with removal at 7pm to the Most Holy Redeemer Church, Coore. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 12.30pm followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Theresa Ann O’Dwyer nee Corry

The death has occurred of Theresa Ann O’Dwyer, (nee Corry) better known as Ann, Tromra East, Quilty, Co. Clare.

Surrounded by her loving family at Limerick University Hospital, on the 13th February 2026.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Paschal O’Dwyer, her baby sons Joseph and Martin and her parents Mai and John Joe Corry.

Sadly missed by her heartbroken children Carmelita, Paul, Maura, Eleanor and Anita, her sixteen cherished grandchildren Ethan, Kayla, Oisín, Fionn, Orín, Daithí, Saoirse, Leanne, Shona, Aoibhín, Eric, Chloe, Killian, Rían, Ruairí and Avril, her sons in law Declan Behan, Thomas Coughlan, David Egan, Derrick Lynch, her sisters Rita Corry and Pauline Ryan and her brothers Jimmy, Michael and Connie (Corry), brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Ann’s gentle Soul, Rest In Peace.

Reposing on Sunday (15th February) at her family residence Tromra East, Quilty, Co. Clare (Eircode V95K7Y5) from 6 PM until 8 PM. Arriving to the Star of the Sea Church Quilty on Monday (16th February) for 12 o’clock Funeral Mass, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only please, donations if desired to the Quilty Church Fund.

Please note there will be a shuttle bus service running from Quilty GAA car park.
