We welcome into God’s family and the Christian Community Daniel Joseph de Castro who was baptised in St. Mary’s Church, Mullagh.

Guarded with tenderness, guided with love, Gently watched over by heaven above. Happily walking or safely at rest. May your precious baby girl forever be blessed.

Michael (Sonny) Honan

Michael (Sonny) Honan, Quilty and formerly of Rhynagonaught, Doonbeg. At University Hospital Limerick.
Reposing at Considine’s Funeral Home, Cree on Tuesday evening from 5 o’clock with removal at 7 o’clock to the Church of Our Lady Assumed into Heaven, Doonbeg.
Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 11 o’clock with burial afterwards in Quilty Cemetery.
Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu to RNLI and the Irish Heart Foundation.
House Private please.

Bishop Fintan Monahan

We are delighted to welcome our new Bishop Fintan Monahan to our Parish on the weekend of June 10/11. He will be celebrating all of the Masses. He is trying to visit parishes, he didn’t get to for Confirmation. We are delighted he is taking this time to come and visit us and greatly look forward to meeting him.

Pemba Project

We are pleased to welcome Fr. Zeno Cosmas, Holy Ghost Father from Pemba Island off the coast of Tanzania to our Parish next weekend. He will be celebrating mass on Saturday 3rd June at 7pm in Quilty Church. Our parish and west clare have many links with Pemba and many people here support projects on the Island. So we look forward to welcoming Fr. Zeno.

Priests Collection

Our June Priest’s Collection takes place next weekend 3rd & 4th June. We thank you for your support of all our collections. An envelope is available in your yearly supply or envelopes are available in the churches. Spare yellow envelopes can be picked up also, they may not be in your supply. If you are part of the charity back scheme, mark any contribution with initial Q, M or C and your number. Thank you for your patience.
