The Annual collection to help support and finance sick and seriously ill pilgrims on this year’s Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes will be held this weekend at all Masses. Your generosity to this appeal will enable sick people to experience peace and blessings at the Grotto of Lourdes. The Diocesan Pilgrimage, with direct flights from Shannon Airport will take place from 26th June—1st July and 7th October—12th October. Pilgrimage director Rev Tom Ryan 061 364133. May 23rd, 2014When sorrow seems to fill your heart and all you feel is bad. I’m going to share a truth with you about a friend I have.
It happened on a lonely night when all I thought was lost upon the wall a picture hung of Christ upon his cross.
I raised my head as tears ran down and looked at him and said. “With all my heart I ask of you to take away my dread.”
With arms stretched out I heard him say, “Be still for all is well, my love for you is mightier than any pain you feel.”
My tears were dried, my heart was light. Once more he softly spoken “To others tell, when in despair in me they shall have hope.”
