September 26th, 2012The u14s semi-final between Kilmurry Ibrickane and Doorabarefield took place in Cooraclare on Monday evening. Referee was Michael Bohannon. Kilmurry Ibrickane was first to score within minutes with a ball kicked by Chloe Moloney into Aoibhe King found the back of the net. KIB were in full power dominating all areas of the field, by the 15th minute KIB girls were up 4goals and 2points to Doorabarfield 2points. By half time KIB had topped 7goals and 7points, scores coming from Chloe Moloney, Aoibhe King, Amy Sexton, Ciara Hickey, Ciara McDonnell, to Doorabarfield 1goal and 3ponts, 2nd half started well for Doorabarfield opening with a goal. For the 2nd half, Doorabarfield dominated it scoring 2goals and 6points while KIBs only score of a point coming from Chloe Moloney. KIB had enough done in the 1st half to see off Doorabarfield, final score Kilmurry Ibrickane 7goals and 8points to Doorabarfield 3goals and 9points. September 23rd, 2012The death has occurred peacefully of Bridie Moroney nee Lernihan, Caherush, Quilty at Pairc Na Coille, Nursing Home Ennis.
Funeral remains reposing at O’Friel’s Funeral Home, Miltown Malbay on Tuesday 25th September from 6 p.m. with removal at 8 p.m.to Star of the Sea Church Quilty.
Funeral Mass on Wednesday 26th September at 11am.
