January 11th, 2023The Death has occurred of James Kelleher, Late of 21 Sea View Park Quilty Co. Clare.
Peacefully in the care of the Nurses and Staff of MowlamNursing Home Kilrush surrounded by his loving Family.
Predeceased by his devoted wife Bridie, his brothers Paddy, Michael and John and his sisters Bridget, Mary and Margaret.
Sadly missed by his loving family, sons Michael, Jamie and Martin, daughters Pauline and Brenda, brother Christy, sons in law Joe and Kevin, daughters in law Noreen, Marie and Theresa, his grandchildren Denise, Micheál, Sean, Dylan, Adam, Rachael & Emma, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews and all other relatives, neighbours and friends.

Meath. 30th December 2022 in the loving care of the staff of St. Columban’s Retirement Home. Predeceased by his parents Timothy and Hannah; brothers Joseph, Patrick and Fr. John (Columban Fathers); sisters Mary (Little Way Association), Teresa, Catherine (Steadman), Sr. Philomena (Columban Sisters) and Bernie; nephews Gerard and John (Steadman); sister-in-law Nora; brother-in-law Charlie. Very deeply regretted by Mary Doohan McSweeney and Philomena McCallum; nephew Damien Steadman; nephew-in-law Oliver; nieces-in-law Deborah and Jola; grandnephews, grandnieces, extended family, Columban family and friends.

A Christmas Message
December 21st, 2022We the Pastoral Council of KIB join together in wishing you a happy and holy Christmas. We rejoice with you if your Christmas is that happy time when one is surrounded by family and friends in a spirit of love.
We sympathise with you if your Christmas is a sad time. It can indeed be sad if you have lost a loved one during theyear, if you are burdened by unemployment or by financial pressures, if you are hurt because of family tension, abuse of alcohol or simple loneliness.
We worry that the aggressive consumerism of today’s world can add to the existing pressures on families and dim the real meaning of Christmas.
The year just ending had its highs and lows. The war in Ukraine continues to hurt us all, the financial situation of so many in our country, the loneliness situation is deeply disturbing. Your extraordinary response to the SVP Appeal is a high point and your continued support of community are also high points.
Joy and sorrow but always hope that the coming of Christ at Christmas maybe a source of life and renewal for all of us. May Christ the Child be with us all this Christmas.
