November 16th, 2024The death has occurred of Sheila Moloney (nee Curran), Tromoroe West, Quilty and formerly of Coiscumeragh, Dromid, Co. Kerry.
Peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff in, University Hospital Limerick, surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her loving husband Jackie, her brothers Sean, Michael and Paddy Curran.
Deeply missed by her sister Maureen (in Florida). Her sons Patrick, Aidan and Anthony, her daughters Maureen (Murphy), Anne (Hickey), Geraldine (Coughlan), Caroline (Lillis), Loretta (Burke) and Ellen (Martin). Her daughter-in-law Martina, sons-In-law Michael, Paul, Danny, George, Sean and Stephen and Anthony’s partner Charlotte, her twenty two grandchildren and her fifteen great-grandchildren, her sister-in-law Eileen McInerney, her nieces and nephews, her extended family in Kerry and America, neighbours and many friends.
Reposing in the Star of the Sea Church, Quilty, Co. Clare V95NY74 on Tuesday (19th November) from 5 pm to 7.30 pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday (20th November) at 12 Noon, with interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
There will be a one way traffic system in operation, through the village towards Seafield.

November 10th, 2024The death has occurred of Philomena (Phil) Donnellan (née Flanagan) Wardstown Athboy, formerly of Moyglass, Mullagh, Ennis, Co. Clare. Peacefully in St. Elizabeth’s Nursing Home, Athboy surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her husband Thomas, parents Michael and Mary, sisters Maura, Bridget and Anna.
Sadly missed by her loving family, sons Gerard, Donal, daughter Mary, grandchildren Thomas, Daniel, son-in-law Colin, daughters-in-law Evelyn, Ailbhe, sister Rita and brother-in-law Senan, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
May Philomena Rest In Peace.

Sadly missed by his loving sons Seamus (Birmingham) and John (Mullagh), daughter Ann (Birmingham), daughter-in-law Mary, his adored grandchildren Ellen and Megan, great-grandchildren Ayda, Nyla, Layla, Cyra and Rory, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

October 6th, 2024KILLEEN (née O’Connell) Elizabeth (Betty) (Upper Kilmacud Road, Co. Dublin and Ballymakea More, Quilty, Co. Clare) Peacefully, surrounded by her devoted family, on Sunday, October 6th, 2024, in her 86th year, in the exceptional care of St. Michael’s Hospital, Dun Laoghaire, and earlier in Orchard Respite Centre and Leopardstown Care Centre. Remembered with love by her husband Christy and family, daughters Moira, Fiona and Niamh, sons John, Brian, Aidan and Ronan, adored 20 grandchildren, sons-in-law John, Richard and Walter, daughters-in-law Sarah, Katie and Charleen, sister-in-law Mary, brothers-in-law Maurice, Albert and Francis, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and a wide circle of friends. A special thanks to her wonderful carers who helped in keeping Betty in the comfort of her own home as long as medically possible.
Removal on Tuesday, 8th October, to the Church of St. Laurence O’Toole, Kilmacud, A94 CY83, arriving for Prayers at 5pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, 9th October, at 1pm in St. Mary’s Church, Mullagh, Co. Clare. after Mass Betty will be laid to rest in Mullagh Cemetery.
