The death has occurred of JJ Burke, Quilty, Co. Clare. Died peacefully on May 1st 2025.
Deeply regretted by his wife Celia, daughters Celia and Loraine, sons Patrick, Donal and Dermot, daughters in law Siobhan, Felicity and Marion, son in law Brian. His adored grandchildren, Pat, Shona, Aoife, Nicole, Natalie, Sorcha, Chantel, Caoilinn, Shay, Gráinne, Emer, Conor and Niall, great grandchildren, his sister Bridget, brother in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews , relatives and friends.
May His Gentle Soul Rest In Peace
Reposing in Star of the Sea Church, Quilty, on Saturday the 3rd of May from 4pm with prayers at 6pm. Funeral mass on Sunday the 4th of May at 12.30 pm. Burial afterwards in Quilty cemetery.

Holy Thursday – Mullagh Church at 8pm

Miltown at 6.30pm

Good Friday – Celebration of the Passion –

Quilty Church at 3pm

Good Friday Stations of the Cross at St. Joseph’s Well at 7.30pm

Holy Saturday (Easter Vigil) –          Mullagh at 7pm

Miltown at 9pm

Dawn Mass at Spanish Point on Easter Sunday morning at 5.45am (weather permitting)  Refreshments in the Spanish Point Golf Club after Mass. We welcome any donations of home baking on the morning, this can be dropped off at the Golf Club before the mass. Musicians are welcome to join us on the morning.  Collection for the Burren Sub Aqua Search & Recovery Service during Mass.

Kathleen McCarthy

April 7th, 2025

Kathleen McCarthy, Clonadrum, Mullagh and formerly of Caherciveen, Kerry, on Monday 7th April 2025, at home, surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Milford care centre.

Pre-deceased by her beloved parents Dan and Nora, her brothers John and Denis and her sister Mary.

She will be deeply missed by her heartbroken husband Michael, daughters Lisa and Michelle, son-in-law James, her adored grandchildren Michael and James, her much loved brother Kieran and sister-in-law Eileen, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May her Gentle Soul Rest in Peace

Reposing at St. Mary’s Church, Mullagh, on Wednesday 9th April from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
Requiem mass will take place at St Mary’s church, Mullagh, on Thursday 10th April at 12 noon, followed by cremation at Shannon Crematorium at 3:00pm.
Family flowers only.
Donations, if desired, to Milford Care Centre.

Michael Haran

The death has occurred of Michael Haren, Shanaway West, Miltown Malbay, Co Clare

Michael died peacefully in the exceptional care of the staff at the Alder Unit in St. Joseph’s Hospital, Ennis.

May Michaels gentle soul Rest in Peace.

Predeceased by his parents & brothers Johnny, Pakie & Jacko.

Sadly missed by his niece & nephew Madge & Paddy Haren(Kilkenny), neighbours, relations and friends.

Reposing at the most Holy Redeemer Church Coore on Monday 7th April from 5pm to 6.30pm. Funeral Mass Tuesday (8th April) at 12pm, followed by burial in adjoining Cemetery.
